This decadent chocolate cake is a must-try for any chocolate lover. It's moist, rich, and full of chocolatey goodness.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients, and mix until well combined. Stir in the boiling water. The batter will be thin.
  4. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove them from the pans and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Once the cakes have cooled, prepare your favorite chocolate frosting.
  7. Place one cake layer on a serving plate and spread a layer of frosting on top. Place the second cake layer on top of the first, and then spread frosting evenly over the top and sides of the entire cake.
  8. Decorate the cake with additional frosting, chocolate shavings, or any other desired toppings.
  9. Allow the cake to set for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
